Office Politics 101
Date: Thursday, February 23, 2012
PROGRAM:
Office Politics 101
The joy of accomplishment at work is important to our happiness. When people
fail to understand and manage the political side of work, their jobs may
become unrewarding and unhealthy. We need to view “office politics” as a
normal aspect of work that needs to be managed. We’ll learn about the realities
of organizational life and the essential components of political intelligence.
We’ll discuss some specific strategies to improve your political position and
increase your influence. Please join us for this interactive program.
Learn:
• 5 organizational facts of life
• Ideas for managing your boss
• How much leverage you possess through self assessment
• About 3 different types of allies to have in your network
